Different slider with child theme

    I guys,

    I’m customizr use for some time, I am very satisfied but I would like to use the plugin smart slider 2 with a child theme. Now I want to buy extensions for a fee but I would be sure of compatibility with a different slider (Smart Slider 2)

    What you tell me about it

    I don’t think anyone would be able to give you that assurance. Who knows what changes the plugin author might make tomorrow, which could make it incompatible with the theme?

    However, both the theme and the plugin are free, so you’ve nothing to lose by trying except your time.

    I personally use MetaSlider, which has a shortcode (as Smart Slider 2 appears to). If you want to have the slider in the same position as the Customizr slider, you need a child theme with a function to run the shortcode.
