I have created a custom type of post on my WP install, which is basically for photographs only.
I have the custom type display on homepage along with normal post types.
When the posts are shown on the homepage, images have a max-width or max-height of 772px done with CSS.
The post type displays the image with a max-width ot max-height of 1154px, again with CSS.
The problem I have is that for this to work< when I create the post, I insert the media (image) and it automatically populates the width and height of the image to the real size of the file which is 1200px X 800px – or thereabouts.
How can I stop this ‘default’ size being filled in?
Also, am I fixing the image sizes the best way?…
