Different prices on products based on role (1 post)

Hi I have a customer with a strange request. They would like to have different customer prices based on whether the customer is in a customer/tier1 or tier2 role in wordpress. The dynamic pricing would be ideal for this, however, they want to individually set the price on each product in the database (several thousand) for the standard price, the tier one price and the tier2 price. I can imagine this is possible but probably I will have to write a plugin that does this. I just wondered if you could give me an insight in to the best way to approach this and where to look in the code in order to get the price of a product and change it based on role. I struggle to follow everything that is going on in the woocommerce code and feel like I may miss something important.
