Different Permalinks for Pages and Posts

I have several questions, all part of the same thing.

    1) I am running a website for a film I’m making, here: http://williamschristening.com. Currently I am only using pages for everything, no posts at all, so my question is: am I safe to use only %postname% for my permalinks, since I have about 10 pages at most? (I haven’t set this up completely, I’m still linking with the pageID for now).

    2) I would like to start using posts, to keep a blog. Can I setup wordpress to using different permalinks for my Pages than my Posts? e.g. my “about” page would be williamschristening.com/about, but my blog links would be more like williamschristening.com/category/postID/postname.
