WooCommerce is a great and powerfull Plugin!!!
Although it is ment to be an online shop-system, I am trying to use WC to build up a photo database with 1.000+ images (think of an image stock website). Though there seem to be some limitations that I have to overcome:
1. Every image (which in my case is the product itself) needs to be shown in 3 different sizes: thumbnail, medium size and original High-Resolution size (12MP and up).
But whenever I upload Products/images, WC creates 6 (!!!) different Images. Which parameter do I need to change to get only 3 different versions of my image?
2. It would be great if there were different folders for different image versions (“Thumbnails”, “medium preview”, “high resolution”). This could fasten the thumbnail page rendering.
3. Is it possible to predefine special tag words which can be applied to uploaded images (via checkboxes) and which could be used to filter the images? Just think of a sidebar widget with check-boxes named “nature”, “people”, “animals”, “cars”.
I know, that there is a Category Widget. But with checkboxes it would be possible to combine different tagwords or categories.
