# Different header image

 * Hi
 * I’m new to WordPress and are about to launch my first site. I would like to have
   different header images on different pages. Let’s say “mainheaderimage.jpg” on
   the intro page/index and “mainheaderimage2.jpg” on About or whatever. This to
   create a more interesting look… Or simply a page without any header image.
 * I have found some hints here and there on this forum but I can’t understand it…
   sorry. Please, is there a way or isn’t this an option in WP?

 * It is not a “click here” option. It takes work, custom coding and full understanding
   of the theme system.
