[Resolved] Different header image on one page only in twentyten

  • Hello

I’m new to this so would be very grateful if someone could post a simple explanation of how to have a different header image on just one static page in twentyten. Please don’t point me at the Codex, it’s beyond my meagre understanding… Thank you, merci, diolch yn fawr.

  • Make a post. Upload an image large enough to be the header. Set that image as featured. Magic happens.

Thanks for the reply but there’s a couple of issues… by make a post do you mean write an article or create a new page? (The page I’m trying to change will not contain any posts). When I set the new image as featured, it appears on all my pages.

ipstenu – got there in the end! Thanks for helping out.

    FYI for the next person

Post == new article (blog post)
Page == new static page (about page)

(The page I’m trying to change will not contain any posts)

So then it’s a static page 🙂 Same idea, really. You make the image featured for that one page (or post) and it’s ONLY for that post. It should not appear on ALL pages, though.
