Go on Alex ! You have all my remote support 🙂
Hi @andyjay83 and @djsuperfive,
I believe the next update is ready! Would you like to test this latest version for me so I can get some user feedback?
If so, before you begin I recommend making a complete backup of your site first.
Then try out this file and let me know how it works for you:

Thanks in advance!
Hey @alexmustin !
I love it! It’s exactly what I was looking for the plugin to do!
Amazing job brother!
Everything seems to be working just fine.
The one thing I did notice is that the email sent out to the customer seems to be coming in significantly later than the old version of your plugin.
For the old version, the customer received an email almost immediately after placing their order. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with you but I figured I’d bring it up.
Any thoughts?
Hey @andyjay83,
Thanks for testing and letting me know your results! This definitely helps.
When I was testing on my localhost, it was sending the emails immediately, so I’m thinking it may just be different on each server depending on its current load.
I’ll try to push out the plugin update today!
Hey @alexmustin ,
any update on the progress of releasing the update for this plugin?
I’ve been really looking forward to it!
Hi @andyjay83,
Version 2.2.0 of the plugin was released 7 days ago.
This new update allows you to specify a Custom Email Message for all 3 Order Statuses, for each product.
I hope you enjoy the new version!
Why can’t I send a custom email for the Pending status? I need to be able to.
Also what if I add a custom order status can I set one for that also?

Hi @twgerber,
This is because “Pending” status orders do not receive an email notification.
Please see the following WooCommerce Email FAQ:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/
If your new orders have the status “pending”, no email would have been sent yet. Pending orders are orders where the customer clicked “Place Order” but abandoned the payment page (depending on the payment gateway, i.e., PayPal) or had their credit card transaction declined.
