Different domains

    Hi,

    I would like to use different domains for two different languages. I do know that I have to point the domain to the WP-directory, but right now I´m using the domain for a different website, so I cannot change this right away.

    My question: is it possible to create all translations with the option “The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks” and change it afterwards to the option “different domains”? Or should I rather point the domain to the directory and choose the option “different domains” first and than start to do the translations?

    Hi,

    You can create your content and switch the option without problem (I do this everyday). But take care that your links will be changed, so if search engines have crawled your pages, the links will be wrong until their next crawl.
