Support » Plugin: Discount Rules for WooCommerce » Different discount rule for product page and cart page

  • Hello,

We are running into a bit of an issue with the plugin. On certain products, we have the discount rule set for an item quantity over 48 to receive a $2 discount. It works as intended however if the product quantity is set to 47, it gives a strike-through on the price, shows the $2 discount, yet it’s not actually affecting anything on the cart side. No strike-through or discount on the cart, just product page?

We tried several different configurations solutions but nothing seems to correct this.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thank you for reaching out. Let me explain.

If the cart has 47 quantities already and then if the customer visits the product page, the next quantity will mean 48. So the rule matches and the strike-through shows.

In the cart, it is still 47. So the rule does not match there. So it waits for a quantity to be added to show the crossed-out price.

However, you can hide showing the discounted price on the Product Page.
Please go to WooCommerce -> Woo Discount Rules – Settings -> Price rules -> Display tab
Set “Show Price discount on product pages :” to Hide.
Customers will now see the discount in the cart when they have 48 quantities.

    Hope this helps.
