Different configuration wordpress.com and webmatrix

    I have a wordpress.com site with twenty ten that I need to demo offline. I installed wordpress to my windows 7 pc as a MS webmatrix install. But the former has richer configurations for the theme (eg colors can be set for menu and menu hover while on my offline version allows the setting of background color only). I’d rather stick to the basics and not mess with css. Can anyone see what I need to do to get the richer configuration on my local site?
