  • I’m working on http://www.ampmdoorservice.com. If you look at the footer under “Door Repair Service Areas”, I want to have each State to be ORANGE so that it stands out but I cannot get it to work.

    I added this to my stylesheet

    .boldlink a
    {
    	color: #ff9600;
    	text-decoration: none;
    }

    .boldlink a:hover
    {
    	color: #ff9600;
    	text-decoration: none;
    }
    .boldlink a:active
    {
    	color: #ff9600;
    	text-decoration: none;
    }

    My HTML is

    <a title="Arizona" href="http://ampmdoorservice.com/arizona-commercial-door-repair-service/" class="boldlink">Arizona</a></span>

    What am I missing?

  • I found out I can change the background color but the text color itself is not changing.

    a.boldlink:link {color: #ff9600; background-color: white; font-weight: bold;}

    i was about to reply, but after a reload to check, you seem to have solved it 🙂

    I’m not seeing it. I’m viewing it in Firefox.

    Seems like IE and Chrome are rendering it correctly but Firefox is not. Is it just my cache? Can you check in Firfox to see if it shows correctly for you?
