Difference critical / high / medium attempts

    Hi there,

    can you please explain the difference between critical / high / medium attempts? Are all those attempts to login into my wordpress with my admin name password combination or are there other ways counted as well?

    There are about 2.000 attempts everyday at my page and I would feel a little bit saver if I would understand a little more about what’s happening there.

    Hi,

    Did you check the “Firewall Log” page? It will give you a quick description about why each request was blocked. It does not count the number of login attempts but hacking attempts (such as SQL injection, XSS etc), blocked hackers bots/scripts etc. It also shows the severity level for each of them (critical / high / medium), the firewall rule or policy used to blocked them and a few other info.

    Oh, I see. Thank you very much. Not that I understand that stuff written there, but at least a point to start. Any advice where to get a little crash curse about the basics?
