 * I noticed in phpMyAdmin both pages and posts were stored in the same table, I
was wondering what WP used to differenciate between a Post and a Page.

 * Pages have a post_status of ‘static’. Posts are ‘publish’, ‘draft’, or ‘private’
and uploads are ‘attachment’. There’s also ‘object’ but I’m not 100% sure what
   that indicates.
 * There’s talk of adding a new field ‘post_type’ in the next major release but
the above is accurate for 2.0.1.

 * That’s what I thought it was going to be, thank you!
