Is there a Difference between like button on website/URL and facebook page
The website has 24 likes but the facebook page only has 1 like.
Do they work in different ways? or is the user liking the URL and not the facebook page.
A little confused.

Another question.
If a user likes the URL/website should it not add that like to the facebook page?

Liking a URL is not the same as liking a Facebook Page.

http://www.cnn.com/

CNN has a Facebook Page, of which there may be many (CNN U.S., International, etc.). CNN.com is CNN’s homepage on the Web.
