    I get this error – “Die Datei ist nicht vorhanden.
    Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie die korrekte URL verwenden und dass die Datei vorhanden war.”

    The spreadsheet location hasn’t changed, it was fine before…Any ideas?

    I also sent details through your website.

    Thank you

    What shortcode are you using?

    I think we might be having the same problem. Everything was working up until today(ish). Error message:

    Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist.

    Make sure that you have the correct URL and the file existed.

    Here’s the link we are using:

    [gdoc key=”1jarQl5nczVh1G4VkDTHyz3-5vBJunSRHdO42kb_yFnM” expire_in=”60″ class=”no-responsive”]

    I’ve tried varies docs and shortcodes, all return the same error message, Tried on a couple of servers also.

    I think this might be related to the WP core update?

    WP Debug also shows these issues…Related?

    Does [gdoc key="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jarQl5nczVh1G4VkDTHyz3-5vBJunSRHdO42kb_yFnM/edit"] work for you?

    (@jdoty0)

    I think I may have found a fix. Line 320 of inline-gdocs-viewer.php,

    REPLACE:

    $url .= “https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key={$atts[‘key’]}&output=csv”;

    WITH:

    $url .= “https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/{$atts[‘key’]}/export?format=csv”;

    That worked for me. Maybe google retired an old URL?

    Hi Meitar,
    Thanks for the response. Your suggestion also seems to have worked! I’m going to go with that for now.
    Thanks!

    It does seem like Google finally retired the old URL. Using the full URI of the spreadsheet tells the plugin to use the new-style sheet addresses, which has already been supported by this plugin for a few years. If Google’s retired the old URL scheme it means I can finally remove that part of the code. 🙂

    Yes this works for me, it would seem you need the /edit

    Thank you!

    You don’t necessarily need to include /edit at the end of the URL, you just need to include something that is a real Google URL. These include edit, view, htmlview, and pubview. Any of those will work, too.

    Strange, I get the same error if I do not have the /edit I previously had the full URL, adding the /edit resolved the issue though!

    The error I’m getting that just started at the same time as the ones above is:

    [gdoc Error requesting data: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 5002 milliseconds]

    If you’re running into this issue, you should definitely consider changing your key attribute to the full URL of your spreadsheet address. That said, for people with a lot of old-style key attributes, I’ve just pushed version 0.12 of this plugin, which will automatically retrieve the new-style URIs without you needing to change your key attributes.
