Didn’t work for me, but certainly dedicated support nonetheless

I bought this plugin In mid Aug, and have been waiting until today (Sep 10th) to get the plugin to be fixed and to meet my custom case. At first, it didn’t load my custom post type’s archive. I merged a couple of websites, which used to be running as subsites on a multisite, and with domain mapping, I thought I don’t really have to worry about running a multisite anymore.
After nearly a month of trials and errors, I gave up wating for the solution. The Gaucho team periodically shared me updates, and with each update, I could see another problem. After the CPT’s archives are loaded properly, there was a conflict with Permalink Manager plugin. Took me a while to find out the conflict. Then, today, I saw that CPT’s with /year/monthmum/ slug was transferred without them to the new domain. Other docs plugins also created malfuctions. It was like on and on and on. Having gone through so many issues, I come to understand that it is WordPress’s problem, not Gaucho team’s fault.
I also have long frustrating experience with domain mapping + URL re-mapping (not re-directing) without plugins. I have gone through dozens of code snippets and have spent tons of hours to customize the codes and make my own changes again and again. If it were not Gaucho plugins, I think I would have given up working with WordPress way earlier. Sadly, even Gaucho team’s hard work needed a month, and they probably need more time. I should stop bothering them as well as myself. This will most likely be my last WP plugin rating. Brandon, good luck with your business, and I hope one day this plugin can expand coverages to customized cases like mine. Wish you the best!
