• Uses technical jargon, and the QR code sent users to my own website, which was odd.

The settings and the code generator should be on separate screens.

    Hello,
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to try ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.

I’m sorry if some of the terms seemed too technical. The plugin includes several features that require precise wording, but I’d be glad to know which part was unclear for you so I can improve the explanations in the interface or documentation.

Regarding the QR code pointing to your own website: this is actually the default behavior. If no specific content is provided to encode, the plugin simply redirects to the current page. If you want to display specific data or redirect to another web address, you just need to enter the desired content in the encoding field.

As for the interface, the settings page also contains the “shortcode generator assistant”. This choice was made so users can configure and generate shortcodes directly without having to switch between screens. However, the generator is also available on all authorized pages if you prefer to use it elsewhere.

I really appreciate your remarks, and I remain open to constructive suggestions to make the plugin clearer and easier to use.

    Best regards.
