    Package preparation ends with error. When packagin db only installation does not work 🙂 any1 can recommend anything that works??

    Hey @strzalj,

    I see that you have left 3 different 1 star reviews over 3 different backup plugins. It might be that you have some limitations on your host. Some budget hosts can have specific issues if you’re trying to use an older version of MySQL/PHP and your trying to use a zip archive format on a limited throttled system.

    Before leaving a one star it’s typically a common courtesy to reach out to us via the forums to see if there are any work-a-rounds that we might be able to perform for issues that were not foreseen by your hosts’ configuration. Hope you can reconsider your vote.

    You are quick on opinions. Hosting platform of source is leading provider in Poland: home.pl. Destination is another hosting.
    Plugin didn’t work for both, but I’m sure it works in million other cases.

    I managed however to duplicate the blog manually, it’s really easy:
    – export 12 MySQL tables of source blog and do find-replace of old domain to new one
    – copy wp-content to destination
    – drop / rename MySQL tables of destination
    – import 12 MySQL tables to destination
    – (fix db prefix if it is different in wp-config.php)
    And voila! Mail me if the plugin didn’t work for you, I won’t blame your hosting…

    @strzalj, Thank you for coming back to the thread with more information and you’re right that the plugin can work for some people and not work for others.

    And voila! Mail me if the plugin didn’t work for you, I won’t blame your hosting…

    I’m sure you didn’t mean for to email you, but just double checking. If people want to help, please reply on this review thread or in the support section.
