Hi @shang1019
I hope you’re well today!
Those e-mail notifications on your second screenshot (in “Email notifications” section) are not related in any specific way to registration. They are general notifications for the form submission and there’s no option to set or customize activation e-mails.
As you noticed, the activation e-mail is what you set (as shown on your first screenshot) in “User registration” settings of the form. If you have “Email activation” set as method then below it by default you’d have the “Default” option set under “Activation e-mail”.
This means that default activation e-mail that WordPress core sends is not disabled. It’s not Forminator notification but a regular activation e-mail which you would also get if you’d register using regular WP registration process. Only option is to disable that activation e-mail entirely (can be useful sometimes in case of Manual Approval).
All in all, if you have it set as shown on your screenshots, you don’t have to do anything else. When user submits the registration form:
– you will get a notification about form being submitted, notification will include whatever you set in “Admin email” notification
– user who submitted the form will get a notification about form submission, containing whatever you set in “Welcome email”
– user account will be created but inactive
– user will get another e-mail with an activation link (that’s the “standard” WordPress e-mail).
That being said, I understand that even though it’s all set this way – the user actually don’t get that last e-mail with activation link currently, right?
If so – can you confirm that this e-mail isn’t in spam folder? Also, if you try to use “Lost password” option on a standard WordPress login form – are you getting e-mail for this or it’s also not coming through (or going to spam folder)?
Kind regards,
Adam
