So, I’ve got my blog running, and I’m looking at my stats, and somehow people are being sent to http://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/ from one of my single-post pages http://www.abathur.com/2006/07/whoa-now-kiddies/.

Firefox won’t show it on its link list, localhost doesn’t show up in my source anywhere.

I can’t figure it out. Logged in and out, in IE and Firefox, I can’t find any reason why this is showing up on the stats. Best I can tell, 5 people have done it–most of my visitors since the site just went up–and it’s driving me crazy that I can’t figure out how they’re doing it, or at least why it’s showing up that way if nothing is wrong. I’d think I managed to miss something in the switch from development to live (since that would be where I had everything) but I can’t figure out how that’s working now. Thanks for any help.

    Peace,
    Travis

I think it was just the stats package showing things oddly. I’m trying out another one now–still getting the same thing but I’m seeing them as incoming links instead of outgoing. That doesn’t bother me, at least. If anyone knows why, though, I’m still curious. 😉
