# Developing website with shortcode

 * I am developing a blog site using custom Short code. All the module and sections
   create using custom short code and I am using “Shortcode Ultimate” plugin to 
   create these custom short codes.
    I need to know that if I develop my whole site
   using custom Short code, is it OK or not? Is there any technical problem to create
   a website with custom short codes only? I’m relatively new to WordPress. Any 
   help is greatly appreciated.

 * The problem with Shortcodes is that 9f your client or whoever decides to move
   away from your theme or plugin, they would then need to filter their content 
   out of the shortcodes to “normalize” their content.
 * There was a time (probably still is the case) where Page Builders used shortcodes
   for everything. Layout, modules, it was nested shortcodes everywhere. Moving 
   a client out of a pagebuilder like this was a nightmare.
 * This is why I would suggest using shortcodes sparingly and not to rely on them
   too much.
