• I develop all my websites in WordPress. I have noticed that lately, most of the time I spend on development is in the post or page editor, and I’m wondering how to streamline this process.

I have a starter theme I use will all projects, which I’m happy with. However, There is a lot of content styling with these sites, with text layed out on multiple colums, breakout quotes, image arrangements, and all of this takes place in the content of the page, i.e. the editor.

Consequently, I find myself constantly tweaking, refreshing, viewing the page, going back, tweaking, and going on like this for hours.

Is there an IDE that will interface with the body content of a Wordpess installation? Is there some kind of hack I can use to speed up this process?
