# Developer won’t share login credentials

 * My organization hired a developer to create a website for us. Our contract stipulated
   that the developer deliver administrative credentials to us, but they did not
   do so. I only have the site address, no information about the admin page, developer
   username, or anything else.
 * We can provide the contract and substantial evidence of our ownership of the 
   site, but I can’t find a way to contact WordPress about getting control of our
   site.

 * If you’re paying for hosting, contact your host and get the credentials to access
   the hosting control panel. Then, this article lists 7 completely different ways
   to reset your password. Any one of them will work and do the job. Find the one

 * Once you’re in PHPMYADMIN, the easiest thing to do is to reset the email for 
   the current admin, then use the “forgot password” link to reset the password 
   and take over that account.

   on some hosting service.

 * Word of advice scan all your wp codes. He might have installed some backdoors.
