    Hi,

    Since a few days I experience some challenges with Site Kit.

    In the Site Kit Summary there is this url displayed as: (not set). When I click on it, it brings me to a page called “Detailed Page Stats” where it states “It looks like the URL https://www.celestialrebel.com/ is not part of this site, therefore there is no data available to display.”

    I’ve just updated the plugin but no changes in what is described above. I checked if all the Site Kit tools are connected the proper way and I’ve got green bullets everywhere.

    Can you please advice how to solve this or what causes this issue?

    Thank you in advance.

    In addition to the Site Kit challenge as mentioned above, I’d like to add that also since a few days Adsense is not displaying adds on my website. I’ve checked my Adsense account, but I can not find any issues or warnings there either. I assume my Site Kit challenge and Adsense not displaying ads might be connected (?)

    Thank you.

    @celestialrebel ,

    Thanks for opening a support topic.

    Detailed Page Stats” where it states “It looks like the URL https://www.celestialrebel.com/ is not part of this site

    As for this issue are you using any translation plugin? This is usually happened when there is a multilingual plugin installed at the website.

    We have already created the issue on GitHub repo & you can subscribe for further updates.

    For AdSense related query can you please open a separate topic so we can serve you accordingly.

    Thank you for the feedback @abdullahramzan

    I had indeed WPML installed but did not use it for my blog, so I uninstalled it. Uninstalling it did not help to solve the challenge. It is still the same unfortunately.

    The thing is that this challenge still is giving me my most visited url as “(not set)” and still directs me to the page where it states “It looks like the URL https://www.celestialrebel.com/ is not part of this site, therefore there is no data available to display.”

    @celestialrebel ,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Are you looking the page from Most popular content table from the Site Kit dashboard? We have tested the same scenario at our end but unable to reproduce this while WPML is deactivated.

    Please record the same experience by using Loom or Recordit & share us through this form .

    Hi @abdullahramzan

    Thanks for the feedback. I’ve submitted the form but somehow I did not see an option to add images (or something like that). Would it help to delete and re-install Site Kit?

    Thank you.

    Just now there was a new Google Site Kit update for WordPress. The update did not solve the ISSUE as mentioned above and this is the description:

    In the Site Kit Summary there is this url displayed as: (not set). When I click on it, it brings me to a page called “Detailed Page Stats” where it states “It looks like the URL https://www.celestialrebel.com/ is not part of this site, therefore there is no data available to display.”

    I’ve just updated the plugin but no changes in what is described above. I checked if all the Site Kit tools are connected the proper way and I’ve got green bullets everywhere.

    It seems also now that I am losing traffic on the website. In Site Kit the stats drop day by day.

    My last question was not answered if I should just delete and reinstall Site Kit. Maybe I should just stop using it as it is very very buggy since the last two updates.

    I just tested if uninstalling and make a new installation with Site Kit would solve the problem but it did not solve anything. It’s been over 2 weeks now since I reported this problem and nothing happened nor a solution was given… I am very very disappointed in this Google product!

    Hello @celestialrebel,

    We are really sorry for the delayed response. We are still looking into ways to improve the Detailed stats page.

    It seems also now that I am losing traffic on the website. In Site Kit the stats drop day by day

    There’d not be any impact on the traffic of your website as you have Analytics snippet installed on your website. I’ve checked your site (via https://tagassistant.google.com/) and traffic is recording.

    My last question was not answered if I should just delete and reinstall Site Kit. Maybe I should just stop using it as it is very very buggy since the last two updates.

    Reinstalling Site Kit will not result in the detailed page stats appearing. Most likely there is an additional Detailed page stats for a correct homepage URL. Please check the homepage with the Site Kit toolbar active, then click on the admin bar link to that page. You will direct them to the actual “Detailed page stats” page for the homepage. Removing a site title or even changes to the title or a page at present can result in the old URL appearing in the top content table.

    Their setup seems fine with Analytics reporting.

    In relation to ads if you want to open a specific support topic we’d be happy to check your setup and troubleshoot any possible ad issues. I do see ads but not consistently on your site. Unfortunaltey we can only assit with Site Kit snippet palcement for AdSense. For further help you need to contact with the products experts at AdSense Help Center.

    Hi @abdullahramzan

    Thanks for the reply.

    I used to have the icon as in your screenshot https://imgur.com/a/2HhYro5 But I do not see it any more.

    The strange thing is that Site Kit does not have any problems on my other websites, but there I had no translation plugin installed. But what I don’t see there either there is the icon as mentioned with your screenshot.

    At this moment I feel of getting rid of Google Site Kit for this website. And this issue resulted in a one star only review for the Google Site Kit plugin!

    The Adsense challenge seems to be solved as adds are shown again on the website.

    It’s not that I am a wizzkid or a perfect programmer or anything like that, my knowledge only reaches so far, and I am learning all the time. That’s the reason I am not a member of the Git community because it’s just a little too advanced for me still.

    Hello @celestialrebel ,

    Glad to hear Ads are showing on your website 🙂

    It’d be great if you can help us in troubleshooting the issue specifically the Site Kit tab that you are not seeing as its very unusual.

    Can you please follow the below activities:

    1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    3. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    4. Visit the page again

    You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

    Hi @abdullahramzan

    Thanks again for the reply.

    I’ve installed the troubleshooting plugin as suggested and activated it for Site Kit. How long should it run, or is turning it on and off again enough to gain the information you need?

    What should I do now? And how do you retrieve the information needed from the troubleshooting plugin?

    Thank you in advance.

    (@celestialrebel)

    Update:

    I’ve turned off the troubleshooter plugin. It did not give me any information or errors at all. The problem really is within the Google Site Kit plugin unfortunately, and I can not solve that myself.

    I am in doubt now if I should continue with Site Kit or maybe just get rid of it on this website and try something else like Monster Insights…

    Advice would be more than welcome regarding the use of Site Kit in this situation because I can not wait for the development team at Site Kit for solve it as my work (and proper statistics and proper working plugins) just continues…

    Thank you.

    @celestialrebel ,

    We can’t retrieve any information through this plugin. We only see either its fixed through this troubleshooting or not. Also used to locate third party conflict. This plugin is basically disable all the plugins except Site Kit & activate WordPress default WP Twenty theme in troubleshooting mode.

    You just need to locate the Site Kit tab that you were saying not visible to you when troubleshooting mode is enabled.

    There is a filter to remove the Site Kit tab although this could have to be programmatically added to disable the tab by any of your developer.

    Hi @abdullahramzan

    Even in trouble shoot mode, the Site Kit tab does not show. But like stated before neither does it on my other websites where I use Site Kit. I am the only developer for my WordPress websites.

    The troubleshooter does not give me any errors,

    Could it be that my hosting turned something on/off on their servers? The websites run on Litespeed servers.

    Thank you.

    @celestialrebel ,

    One more thing: Can you please share your screenshot when you logged-in & just highlight the toolbar area from the frontend of the page you are seeing issue as I shared with you previously.

    You can use Imgur to share the screenshot here.
