• I went through the steps outlined to clone an existing site [A.com] to another domain [B.com] so that I can use that as a test site.

Now B.com automatically redirects to A.com, including when I try and login so I can’t login to WP on B.com to try and undo what this destructive plugin has done.

Only took a minute, and now my test site is wrecked. I am not the only one on the unsupported ‘Support’ page with this issue, there is only one post here that has been resolved.

  • I am very sorry GailyD, but the destruction of the destination site in case of plugin error is clearly stated in both the documentation and the plugin dashboard itself and the risk is in fact unavoidable for any plugin of this type. You need to go back to your cpanel and delete the installation.
You are right about the quality of support, I am thinking of hiring somebody for this. We also have some thoughts about making the process less risky. It seems about 5% of sites do not respond to it and we are not sure why.
For the rest, thanks for your comments.
