Desperation with WP SEO and WPML (gotta destroy my urls?)

    I am desperately trying to find an intelligible answer to a huge problem that’s keeping my WP site to go live.

    “Is there any way to use your SEO plugin with a WPML-based (multilingual) WordPress site without having to butcher its urls in ‘language1.sitename.com’ and ‘language2.sitename.com’? In other words: can I have the SEO plugin generate working sitemaps for a multilingual website whose url is ‘sitename.com/whatever you want to use to separate the languages’?”

    I am asking you because all answers I found are on the lines of “just throw 12 years of marketing down the toilet and change the urls”, or incomprehensible gibberish. I just can’t believe I have to choose between relinquishing your plugin or my url…
