    Hello All, Thanks for stopping by. This may seem like a simple problem but i think there is more to it.

    I have been going crazy trying to change the header to my own image. I have done every method. Overwriting kubric jpgs, editing code, (admin) theme editor, header editor, style file, header file but it will just not show on the page. It shows inside the admin>presenation>header colour section but will not show up on he original site.

    This is on the latest upgraded version and the older one. Any help tips or suggestions? I am grateful.
    Thanks

    Sharing a link may be useful…

    Be sure you’re clearing your local browser cache after making changes to your site (or hit ctrl-F5 while on the page).

    Suggestion (since you asked for one): Choose a different theme to modify. http://themes.wordpress.net

    Kubrick is notoriously difficult to modify for even the most savvy designers sometimes. (I still can’t fathom why they include it in the install packages.)

    Hello Guy’s,

    I don’t really know how i done it but it now works.

    I took ladydelalunas advice and used a different theme. Messed around with it for a bit and then went back to the default kubrick and tried again. The end result (whether this affected it or not) was to rename the file (change from kubrck to something else) and here is the code from the style file in the typography section. Thanks for your time guys.

    #header {
    background: url(images/header_bg.jpg) no-repeat right top;
    color: #996600;
    }
