    I am wondering if the desktop notifications are something that comes with the free version or pro version or is this an extension?
    What i am looking for is a platform for live chat that staff can use to correspond with customers without having to lo into the site admin panel.
    Is there something?
    What are desktop notifications?
    Desktop notifications are notifications that will appear on the bottom right of your screen when a new live chat is received. This feature is supported in all browsers except Internet Explorer.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    Desktop Notifications are available in both the Basic and Pro version. You’ll need to be logged into your WordPress dashboard in order for these to appear on your screen though.

    If you’d prefer your agents to not login to your site, I’d recommend using our Mobile & Desktop App Extension. Full details on this can be found at https://wp-livechat.com/extensions/mobile-desktop-app-extension/.

    Thank you but the extension is limited to users, i am looking for an option that would allow for unlimited users to be able to receive and respond. no we aren’t a cal center but we are an automotive dealership with sometimes ever changing staff.

    Hi there

    The Pro version allows for an unlimited number of agents, however they will need to login to your site in order for them to accept chats from your visitors.
