When building a website, you normally create a static version of the website, then convert it to WordPress.
Have you built your static version yet?

designing your own theme should be possible – only limited by your knowledge of html, css, php, and the WordPress functions.

or start with a virtually unformatted theme – search the web for ‘blank wordpress theme’

You may want to check out the Template article by Codex, and other Codex articles which explain step-by-step processes of building a WordPress website from scratch.

i see, my first step i will go with the “blank wordpress theme” so i basically fill in the script into my layout design(or the otherwise) and addressing each grid for its own purpose. in hint of knowing the basic codex functions first.

thanks for both of you, i really appreciate it 🙂 i know where to go now
