 * I’d give your hyperlinks a unique colour other than the default blue. 🙂 Also,
   you could put a background of some kind behind your category list because it’s
   hard to read with the busy background of your left column.
 * Other than that, you’re off to a great start! Keep experimenting and trying new

 * i really like the liquid layout i think that works well…
 * But ditto the standard blue links… change the colour… maybe just even just find
   the compliment to the red heading your using.
 * And i would turn my attention to the navigation and give that a good style up.
