Support » Plugin: Seriously Simple Podcasting » Descriptione episodes in the series

  • Hello, I first of all say that your plugin is being perfect, I use it on my podcast site. I only have one problem, I use Genesis as a framework, I have added the Seriously Simple Podcasting Genesis Support plugin. Now I have created 3 series but when I go to publish podcasts in the feed the description of all the episodes is always that of the last episode published. What is the problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @siegfried-asgard,

When working with the Series feature that creates several podcast feeds on your site, you will want to be sure that after you create the series that you also update the Feed Details screen under Podcast > Settings > Feed Details. By default, the plugin will copy the information in the Feed Details screen of the Default Podcast. Visit the new Podcast by clicking on the Podcast Name in the very top of the screen, update the information and then click Save. This will update the podcast description for that feed.

Thanks, but I understand that the problem is an incompatibility with the Podcast Subscribe Buttons plugin

    Hello @siegfried-asgard,

Thanks for the additional details. Can you tell me what steps you took to find out it was an incompatibility with that plugin and also describe in detail what behavior you are seeing? I’m not able to get to your feed link.

To begin with, I deactivated all the plugins connected to the individual posts, and I have only two of them and as soon as I deactivated Podcast Subscribe Buttons on the post everything was fine. To be precise it conflicted with the plugin shortcodes
I re-add my feed link, that I had put at the beginning of the post
