 * Hi All,
    Even if I filled all the snippets fields in the YOAST Plug in per each
   page, when I search with google: npassociati
 * the result is this one:
    [http://nimb.ws/YVXzt8](http://nimb.ws/YVXzt8) no any
   description is the one I filled in.
 * This is what I filled in for the home page:
    [http://nimb.ws/gzasVZ](http://nimb.ws/gzasVZ)
   neither the Home meta description is the one I filled in.
 * I have not changed anything in the advanced settings (following the home advanced
   settings)
    [http://nimb.ws/GY8krW](http://nimb.ws/GY8krW)
 * so the questions are:
    – how to make visible the right Meta descriptions for
   each page? – how to decide which snippet to show?
 * the site is: npassociati.com
 * thanks a lot

 * After reviewing your site’s source code, the plugin outputs the correct description
   to your homepage and Google has received your preferred description. Ultimately
   Google will, as you have seen, make the final decision on what they show in their
   search results. Due to this being handled on Google’s end, there is little you
   can do to force Google to display the preferred description. The best advice
   I can provide, unfortunately, is to try different descriptions. This [article provides advice on creating the right description](https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/)
   for your site.

 * thanks a lot.
 * Just a point more.
 * It might not be that Google needs more time to transpose and do see the right
   entered description?
 * Is better too change immediately the new description as you suggest or better
   to wait some more time to see what happen?
 * And if I change now the description How many time should I wait to see the new
   one?
 * thanks

 * [@semiombra](https://wordpress.org/support/users/semiombra/) It can take up to
   a week for Google to index the changes you made, depending on how often your
   website is crawled.
 * Sometimes you can speed up this process as described in this KB: [Fetch as Googlebot](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/fetch-as-googlebot/#utm_source=support&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=support-link)

 * **[@philby20](https://wordpress.org/support/users/philby20/)** If you have a
   similar issue, please [open a new request](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordpress-seo#new-post).
   That way it’s easier to track issues and provide assistance. Thanks!
