[Resolved] description removal

• I notice that optimizing with this plugin removed my descriptions of the previously uploaded images.

luckily I only optimized one image rather than bulk as I don’t want to have to go back and re-enter all this info if I don’t have to. Also, for some reason I can’t get the text to go back to how I had it. if you click this link
you will see what I mean. open the first image in the slide show, read the description, then move on to the next and you will see what I mean. I only want the image title to be bold, with the rest regular. I used the same header as I had used before.

thanks very much for your help. I would love to integrate this into my site.

• I fixed the bolding issue, but am still wondering if there is a way to keep descriptions on previously uploaded images.

either way…still like the plugin.

thanks.

hmmm, actually everything seems fine now!

I like this thing as it is showing me how bloated my files have been. wow. thanks!

Good to hear, the plugin never touches the descriptions, and only ADDs meta information in the WP database, doesn’t delete anything. At first I thought perhaps you were referring to descriptions in the EXIF metadata, and there is an option to delete the EXIF info for JPGs, but that is turned off by default also.
