• Like the title says, when I google my site biblebrisket.com no description appears. Instead I get:

    A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt

    Now from what I’ve read so far in other posts, I need to edit my robot.txt file. Problem is, I have no idea where to find it or what to add/change once I do find it. I found a plugin to edit it but I can’t figure out how to upload the plugin since the screenshot is outdated.

    I should note that I’m running my site strictly from the wordpress.org site, not via files on my computer.

    If anyone can give me a simple step-by-step on how to resolve this issue I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

    The HTML source code for your site is showing that you are running off of WordPress.COM and are not running a self-hosted installation of WordPress.

    <meta name="generator" content="WordPress.com" />

    For WordPress.COM support you need to post to their support forums instead.

    This article may explain to you the differences between .COM and a .ORG installation.

    It’s a common misunderstanding. 😉
