Support » Plugin: Schema » Description not showing meta key value

I configured the Headline and Description meta key in Schema -> Types -> Post. Then in the post those two fields are showing in their metabox. However, it doesn’t mind what I write there, it will always override and show part of the first paragraph…

    Why isn’t my description overriding?

    Thank you!

    Found part of the problem…

I’m using Page Generator Pro to create multiple posts. When I generate the posts, despite having the headline and description in their respective metaboxes, Schema plugin is not considering them. I removed them from one post, saved, then pasted it again and save once more. After this I tested with Google markup test tool and now it’s showing.

Why isn’t it showing from the beggining? If the metaboxes have the right values, they should be used right from the start!

For example, I do the same thing with Yoast and it works, the Headline and Description are accepted and shown right from the moment the post is created.

I am not sure why the markup wasn’t showing on the first time you’ve generated your page, but mostly you will need to save the page to flush old schema markup.
