    Hello there,

I have set my homepage description both in the dash main settings and also in the page which I have set to my homepage but this isn’t being reflected in google.

    http://itecheaven.co.uk

Rather than the description I have set in those places – it is simple pulling text from my homepage.

“CONNECT WITH iTecHeaven … Tweets by @iTecHeaven … iTecHeaven is a specialist future tech company based in London, England. We are dedicated to …”

Could you possibly advise as to why this is happening?

    Many thanks!

    Hi clanko,

Google does not have to use the title and description you set, sometimes they will create their own and you cannot force them to use your title and description. If you want to see exactly what Google has in their index for your site then type the following text into Google search:

    site:itecheaven.co.uk
