Hi, I can’t seem to have the description box text (the text that will be hidden once a user starts inputting text into the description) to show.

    I’m using the description=”test” shortcode.

    Any advice, please?

    Hi @grdarryl,

If you set the shortcode as description=โ€testโ€, this means that the description field would be hidden and prefilled with the text “test”. Is that what you would like to do? Or would you like to let the user add their text in the form?

If you would like to let the user add their own text, you do not need to set the “description” field manually. You can simply use:

    [zendesk_request_form]

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

    Thanks!

    Phil

    Hi @pipdig

    Thanks!
What I’m trying to do is get some text (in a light gray color) inside the description box to give instructions/advice for what a submitter should type in.
So the label is not a problem but how to put text inside that box that will turn off when the submitter starts typing inside the box. Hope that clears up my question ๐Ÿ™‚
