Desaturated thumbnail images on main page

  • Hi
I just installed Magazino and noticed that the thumbnail images in the gallery and the slider appear desaturated compared to the original (and to the same images in the single post page): I tried looking all over the style.css file but couldn’t find anything that could be responsible for that (at first I thought it was an opacity setting).

Any clues on how to prevent this from happening?
    Thanks

  • Hi @guiseppeammogliato,

Can you share the link of your site so I can have a look?

    Hi
my site is not live yet, I’m currently running it on MAMP on my Mac.

However, I have found the same issue with another theme (not all of them obviously, or I wouldn’t have posted here): I wonder now if it may be an issue of color space and/or due to thumbnail resizing (I think the images I uploaded are 6MP)?

The same thing is happening to me. I’ve got a gallery site live on a testing server. If you click on the thumbs, you’ll notice all (but one) – the images in the post are much richer in quality.

Looks like the fix was adjusting the resolution before uploading. The photographer sent me files that were 120 dpi. I changed to 72 and fixed the color issue.
