 * I got some warnings bumped (actually plenty of them) because of some deprecated
   code. It must be all about deprecated “=& new” constructors. Strangely enough,
   I found no such ticket on trac.
    Hope it doesn’t mean that PHP4 code is kept 
   on purpose?

    “Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is
   deprecated in /home/reconbyf/wp/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 738”

 * The devs are dropping PHP4 in the next major release of WordPress, so the answer
   today is ‘Yes, PHP4 is kept on purpose’ but also ‘PHP5 will be a requirement 
   soon.’
