Deprecated wp_fbr_{top,bottom} output

  • As far as I have been able to discern from the code, wp_fbr_{top,bottom} is not actually used anymore by Wordbooker, and the accompanying configuration options has been removed.

    Still, Wordbooker detects the old settings and output some code on top or bottom of the post.

    This is an annoyance, because it affects :first-letter css pseudocodes. Also, it inserts a meaningless div on top of every post, which is probably not good for accessibility.

    For every update, I patch this manually by simply commenting out the lines with the wp_fbr output code, namely these:

    if ($wordbooker_settings['wordbooker_fbread_location']=='top'){
    $post_cont2= "<div class='wp_fbr_top'>".$read_code."</div>".$post_cont2;
    }
    if ($wordbooker_settings['wordbooker_fbread_location']=='bottom') {
    $post_cont2=$post_cont2."<div class='wp_fbr_bottom' >".$read_code.'</div>';
    }
