Deprecated Constructor from Warning to Critical

    There was a previous post that referenced this (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/deprecated-constructor-14) which was closed without a response from support.

    My log files have been filling up with the following error:

    CRITICAL Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; JQueryColorboxFrontend has a deprecated constructor at file /home/universitycommon/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jquery-colorbox/includes/jquery-colorbox-frontend.php at line 11.

    In the previous post I mentioned it sounded like there was a solution, is there any chance this will be implemented? Aside from having to delete very large log files with repeated errors (mostly this one error over and over) it seems that it’ll soon be a bigger issue as PHP evolves.
