# Deprecated code in latest version?

 * Hi Folks,
    The latest version, 1.2.9 causes the slides to no longer be displayed
   correctly on one of my clients’ site. Blank/white “images” appear instead of 
   the images.
 * A warning is issued by Jquery Migrate indicates that the following code is deprecated:
 * jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated
    in [https://ecosource.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-1-slider/js/jquery.bxslider.min.js](https://ecosource.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-1-slider/js/jquery.bxslider.min.js)
 * not sure if this is the issue but re-installing 1.2.8 fixed the issue. Obviously,
   we don’t want to be running old code.
 * Any ideas?
