    Hello,

the plugin works just fine but the dependencies dont work.
I have several SCORM Files in different chapters and I would like to create a dependence for chapter 2. Only if you watch chapter 1, chapter 2 will be available.
But it doesnt work. I tried it with and without points, with levels etc.

But unfortunately this does not work. Chapter 2 remains locked.

When a user registers he is automatically a user. The group authorization of user is: Chapter 1 = unlock and Chapter 2 is set to “eye” (visible but not openable).

    Am I doing something wrong?
When I set Chapter 2 to unlock, it is immediately unlocked, even if they have not previously watched Chapter 1. The dependency gets somehow totally ignored.

    Hallo,

    LG P

    Hey peddas,

do you prefer english or german? As to your question: When you set the dependencies, do you check the modules or the tree items (course/chapter)? We have an updated in the pipeline that could potentially fix this.

First of all – wow that was a quick response!
I´m okay with english. I´m from Austria too but my english gramma is not that good, so I though it would be better to write it in english and german. But lets do english because maybe someone else has the same problem, then they have the solution too.

For the dependencies I check the tree items, because the modules checkbox doesn´t stay checked after saving. 🙁

So eg. I have 2 Chapters (the pink ones).
Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. In both Chapters there is a lesson linked. Both lessons are individuall scorm files.

In the settings of chapter 2 I checked the dependencie for Chapter 1 (tree item).
The scorm file is on a seperate Page. Included with the short code. In Chapter 1 there is the lesson but I´ve placed the page url where the scorm is into the “link” field, because I want them to open as a seprate page with other stuff on it.

The user has the group user.
In the user group authorization I set Chapter 1 to be unlocked and Chapter 2 to be visible but locked, because I want the user to watch Chapter 1 first and after that Chapter 2 should be unlocked.

And this unfortunatly doesn´t work for me.
Do you have any ideas why its not working?

    best regards

btw the scorm file is marked as completed and if I put a test in it it also counts the points. But somehow chapter 2 doesn´t get unlocked and stays locked.

    Hey peddas,

nice to see some fellow austrians here 🙂
I do have a potential fix in the form of a beta version of the upcoming update if you are interested in trying this out. I think the problem is (or hopefully was) in the evaluation of completed modules contained in dependencies. Anyway we are a bit limited on what we can offer through the support forum, feel free to hit us up through the support form on our website though.

We’ve solved this through our support system, the fix should be in the upcoming update.
