• I am setting a portal where the vendor cannot just post a product but is also allowed to post articles, video, galleries, etc – just like any normal Editor or Author Role would allowed to.

When I install and activate YITH Multi Vendor, the author and editor roles that also vendors loose the ability to edit or write posts. In all cases the error message “You do not have permission to edit this product. Click here to view and edit your products.” appears. If the plugin is deactivated that error message doesn’t appear. Role permission editors (WPFront User Role Editor) don’t help.

What can I do to allow any editor / vendor role to post prodcuts and articles without having to swith logins.

Thanks for the help, but this is not working.
There’s no change to the behavior of “Add Post” or “Edit Post”. So based on this, I cannot buy or recommend the use of this plugin.

What I am wondering about is that you would even concive a function / plugin that denied author / editor roles to add or edit other posts than just stricktly a product. It makes no sense to me.

    Hi,

    I’m sorry for this issue.
I send your reporting to our developers to find the problem because this works fine with the commercial version but not with the free version, I think this is a bug in free version of plugin.
    Thanks for patience.
    Have a nice day
