denied access to admin

As a result of running wp-security I now do not have sufficient permissions to access admin. So I can’t get in to do anything.

My question: is the only remedy to re-install wordpress, and would all that I have done before be erased? I did a backup of database before I ran that horrible plugin but I have no idea how to reimplement it or even if that would help. I can’t register as new user. I am still technically logged in but without access to admin.

I’m in a big messs here, this is a client’s blog… please help.
