Democracy poll width, work-around needed in IE! (4 posts)

    Hi there,

I'm using the latest version of the Democracy poll plugin & widget on my sidebar, which works fine until I load it in IE and it throws the third column out of place, grr!

Getting into the css it should be easy to fix, using the
max-width tag, but this doesn't work in IE, as I think the line...

/* yay IE hack - display or visibility don't work */

I've tried making a text widget with <?php jal_democracy() ?> (which brings up the poll for non-widgetised siebars) inside a table with width parameters, but it seems the php can't be called in the text widget.

Can anyone suggest ideas for a workaround to affect the poll width in IE???

Thanks in advance for your ideas :-)

Hey. I ran into a similar problem. I explained how I fixed it here: http://www.potatobytes.com/how-to-install-democracy-plugin-on-wordpress-251

    Hope that helps.
