Support » Plugins » Democracy poll plugin not showing up in admin panel

  • I just tried to install the Democracy AJAX poll plugin:
    http://blog.jalenack.com/archives/democracy/

It says to just upload the folder to the plugins directory, then activate the plugin (like you do with most plugins)

Well, I did this but the Democracy polls tab doesn’t show up in my admin panel under Manage like it’s supposed to.

I have no idea what to do to get it to show up, or what could be interfering… I saw a few comments about people who had the same problem, and a few posts about this plugin, but none seemed to have a problem with the plugin not showing up at all.

Why doesn’t it create the admin page even though I activated it?

If anyone knows… let me know! Thanks. I really want to use this plugin! (I am using the latest version).

Also, a few of my plugins do not show up in the admin panel unless I use Safari as my browser! Anyone know why that is? Seems odd. This poll one unfortunately is not showing up at all in either browser -_-

  • Assuming I don’t get help fixing this issue, I found this plugin, which is very similar and a good alternative:

Although I like some of the style elements of Democracy better 😛

Olá, I would like to insert one enquete in mine blog wordpress and all addresses to lower plugin Democracy Ajax Polls indicate the address of blog of jalenac, however, the site are not available, have some another way?
    Thank You, Luciane

Note that there’s two plugins in one here – Democracy Widget and Democracy. And there’s a democracy folder inside the democracy folder. In order to get democracy itself going you need to move the inner folder up a level. God knows why he packaged it that way.
