• I’ve installed WordPress and tried to import the demo theme from the purchased Pro version. First, I saw an error saying “Invalid post type wpcf7_contact_from”. After some research, turned out to be that I needed to install “Contact Form 7” plugin for this error to go away. Would be really helpful if the installation instructions mentioned required plugins as a prerequisite.

Now, when importing the demo site I do not see any errors, but the entire right side navigation is empty. Any idea what may be wrong? For a paid version I’d expect the installation process to go much smoother.

May I not post details here in the forum, so others can benefit from the solution? Why do I need to send you an email?

You can ask me for details here and I can provide them. Why do you constantly ask to communicate on Revolve theme problems via email? It’s not efficient and the others cannot see the solution to the problems they may be facing as well.

    Hi there,

It seems that you have not set the menu on the theme please go to Appearance->Menus
and then create new menu and select menu location to “Primary” you can see the screenshot

    Thanks.

Nowhere in your documentation it says I need to create a menu prior to importing. Instead it says:

    1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > General Settings > Miscellaneous Settings.
    2. Then click on ‘Import Demo’ button.
    3. The importing process will take some time so please keep patience.
    4. Once done refresh the site for previewing the changes.

This is what I’ve followed and got the error. Anyway, I’ve had to reinstall the theme again and configure it from scratch, bypassing demo. Please make it work properly in your next update.
