    Hello,

I am really struggling here. I have been going back forth between my hosting provider and the theme creator, and I can’t seem to get any really help as one thinks it is an issue with the other. I am hoping maybe WordPress directly will be able to help me. The theme I am using does not have a WordPress support page because it is a pro version, which is why I am posting here, and I have been in touch with their support directly with no success in resolution.

I have purchased multiple themes from Grace Themes. I have successfully installed and used Yoga Club on another website with no issues. I am trying to use it on http://www.yogawithangelina.com but the demo content is overriding my site content. When I activate any theme from Grace Themes, the demo content overrides all of my site content and will only show the demo home page no mater what page I am trying to access. I have had my site up for about 10 years, and this is the first time changing themes.

When working in Customize Theme Options, none of the changes input there are saved as if the Themes Options Panel is broken. If I use any other theme directly from WordPress, I have no issues with Live preview or activation showing my site content. Only the themes I upload, which I have uploaded both through FTP and the Add Theme feature. I have also tried deleting and reinstalling the theme. No dice.

I have cleared my cache and browser history. I have deactivated all plugins. I uploaded other themes from Grace Themes that I purchased and those will not work either. I looked through these forums and have tried to do all that I can find related to this subject, and still no success. I have also reinstalled the latest version of WordPress.

My host provider has added rules to my site whitelist to prevent ModSecurity from blocking the theme.

    Nothing seems to help.

Also, I am a front end web designer, so am able to do basic CSS and Html with access to the FTP files, etc, but I am not familiar with PHP, Java, and all the other fancy stuff. Can anyone help me? I am really struggling and don’t know what to do. I even hired a web designer to take a look and she can’t figure this out. I just don’t know what to do.

Thank you for any insights and help.

the customizer has its own API. It stores values in the options table of your database. It is theme-specific meaning the theme developer is the one who programmed this into your theme. If you change themes the values of the customizer will remain in the database but you will not be able to access the theme options on your new theme unless it uses the same values as the original theme. If the customizer is not working you need to talk to the theme developer. Your hosting company will not be any help in correcting this problem.
